Got a tritoon 2003 model with vinyl bad black spot and carpet wear. 90HP Yamaha 4 stroke runs OK. Wondering from others experience is it better to have this one refurbished or shop for newer used? Can't afford the 2016 new prices!

Thats a tough guestion. If the the motor is good and the toons are in good shape I would restore. Cheapest route to go would be to buy your seats. Having someone recover your old ones is more expensive. I researched seats extensively when I was thinking about refurbishing ours. I ended up not refurbishing. I ended up repairing my seats enough to get a few more years out of them. The link below is who I would have chosen based on reviews. They have different models of seats for different budgets. They will also sell you vinyl if you do need to get certain parts of the boat recovered that are very custom and can not be purchased online. Chances are if you buy a used boat the seats were not taken care of. Regardless of which route you go, use 303 Aerospace Protectant on those seats.

Thanks. I am pretty sure that is the company that made the original seats on my boat. Odessey Millenium tritoon. The entire underside of my boat is aluminum covered attached by rivets. Not sure just how easy the installation would be. BTW I keep 303 on mine but I bought it used and it was not taken care of before I got it. Seems like once the black spot starts no amount of StarBright cleaning will stop them.
