You mention that you vaccum pack a lot of your cooked meat. What type of system do you use? We have a small unit, but it's not robust enough for larger packages.

I use a Food Saver Titanium Game saver. It will handle up to 15" wide pleated material. I always use the double seal mode and on larger packages run it through the cycle twice to insure a good seal. I have looked at other systems, and would like to have one of the stand alone commercial units, but don't have the space nor funds, nor volume to justify one.
