I need suggestions on places to see and places to eat while I am down there... I am sure manty things have changed since my last visit five years ago. any suggestions and why would be very helpful. Arriving Friday afternoon. Leaving Monday afternoon. Thanks.

Sorry Crappy, but you missed the sight seeing event of the year this past Saturday when the entire UGA womens swim team ( about 40 of them) were hanging on Big Beach. Unfortunately, so did I. lol But my freinds were sure to call me and let me know what I was missing. I picked the wrong day to choose not to go out....lol.

Jakes in downtown Alex City is GREAT for dinner! If you like steak, it's wonderful. Also some seafood.

Must agree with OT on the Tuna steak at Harbor Docks. Just ask them to quick sear on both sides (they call it "flip-flopped") and it is as good as I have had anywhere.
