Another nut case, this time it appears to be a disgruntled employee.  No doubt this will be fodder for Biden and the anti-gun left, but they wil totally ignore that every one of these shootings has a mental illness component.  Because you have to be mentally ill to want to kill other people.

Worked 35 years in the mental health field and could have predicted this crisis years ago, so not surprised with the current situation.  Never dreamed it would go this far!  Then the pandemic happened and the issue of Autism cropped up with the vaccine issue and I find myself apologizing for my support of the vaccine defense of the industry excuses for asd relating to the ever increasing vaccination schedule for kids.  Now there is discussion of the vaccines relating to asd and the trans phenomenon.  

my prediction is the shootings will continue and even get worse until reality catches up with wokeism.  The current administration is glamorizing and promoting violence for woke issues.  Stay tuned.

What did you see that made you think that this crisis would happen?  I know the standard reasons we think: overly permissive parents, not teaching kids how to handle rejection and disappointment, not teaching them that actions have consequences.   Socially akward kids that have no social network beyond social media.  Lack of mental health care resources. 

I'd really like to understand what drives young people to violence.

I sensed in the 2010's that outplacement of patients in state hospitals was stressed even if the patient did not want to live there in the community.  If done well with adequate supports great.  But stresses on state budget would eventually place people to the streets, the jails, the prisons.  Like clockwork governor Ivey obliged to cut budgets from MH to prisons, etc.  kids were next and the numbers in the streets, and prisons increased.  

so the state hospital beds were closed and defunded to fund other stuff.  Any help to police departments was de-emphasized and defunded.  It was heartbreaking because doing the right thing was not only good policy but cheaper in the short and long run.  But requires commitment and dedication.  Simply easier to ignore and incarcerate.  

i left the system in disgust and disappointment and watched 30 years of work undone, people incarcerated, families destroyed and the killing begins and deaths occur.  All I know it is all evil based in the name of wokeness.  Sorry for the negativity but it not just other states but right here in river city.

Thanks for sharing that.  I dont' see that "wokneness" is doing society much good.  Seems like there is more hate and division than there has ever been.

The "wokeness" is an excuse for the hate that is in people, if it was not "wokeness" it would be some other excuse for them to do what they want to do - as has always been the excuse.  The main difference is that now they can get famous in the process.

If they were that "sick" why not just kill themselves - why involve children or innocent people?  Because they want everyone to know that cause or reason.  Same reason these sickos write manifestos and livestream it.  Because after you shoot up a school or other defenseless location, then everyone can hold up that extra finger and count the sicko as the victim instead of the perp.

Its interesting how quickly some shootings are memory hole(d) while others make hea(d)lines for weeks and months (d)epending on the backgroun(d) of the criminal or if it furthers the gun control nuts.

I saw where the shooter taxted a friend that he felt suicidal and was heading to shoot up the bank. 

It seems to me that we've managed to raise a generation of young men who cannot cope with rejection, disappointment or anger in a healty way.  They wash out of military training at a huge percentage, because they can't cope with the stress.  Look at the suicide rate in the military.
