Looking for some guidance on the repair cost to replace the impeller on my Yamaha 150 outboard.  Any suggestions on the best place and most cost effective place to do the job?

Need to know where you are located. Are you in the USA? What state? Which lake? Don't wanna suggest a dealer in Iowa if you are located in Alabama.

We charge around 100.00 to 140.00 depending on the application.  Did the Impeller fail, and fill the water passages with small rubber parts?  That makes for a lot of extra time.  Or is it simply time for replacement (we try to get owners to replace every year or two).  Also, while the lower unit is off, we pressure check and vacuum check the lower unit for any leaks, and change the lower unit oil.

I am located located on Logan Martin and the impeller hasn't failed...it's just never been changed in 9-years and living on borrowed time.
