I need a recommendation on a good boat upholstery repair/reupholster guy around the Lake. I am willing to pay a little more for speed and quality work. Does anybody have experience with CoachKraft or Pushwater, both of whom advertise on the main web page?

I used CoachKraft for my boat cover 5 years ago. They are great people and do outstanding work!

Wonder what savings can be had if reupholstery compared to new from Overtons? Also is there anyone near Logan Martin that might be able to do a decent job? Have 1 72 inch and 2 36 inch plus 4 arm rests.Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

I've used Dukes on 231 and he did fine work for a fair price. It was just recovering 2 small pieces but I was very happy. <>< TC

From my experience, go with re-upholstery unless you have a rot problem. You will get better quality for less or equal money. The quality I've seen from the stuff at Overtons, Pontoonstuff.com, and others does not match the quality of a good re-upholstery  business.

I agree, most shops are more interested in doing a good job for the customer than doing the job for the least amount of money. The same goes for other boat services.

Sorry I have not been on the forum for a while. Been swamped. If you need any other work done we would be glad to give an estimate. Also many references. Phil. Pushwater Marine Upholstery. We are located on the lake and would love to help. Pushwatermarine.com
