After some urging from my better half, I have tried fish tacos. They aren't half bad! We have had them with the fish deep fried, pan fried, and grilled. Generally we use cabbage, lime, salsa, guacamole, and some type of cajun sauce in the tortilla and a blackening seasoning on the pan fried and grilled fish. What are your favorite recipes and what kind of fish do you use?

That sounds delicious, Tall Cotton! I love your idea of fish tacos. I also love to make fish pouches: I put tilapia and veggies like corn kernels, tomatoes, and onions plus seasoning like herbs, spices, and sauce like maple syrup, mustard, soy sauce, lemons in aluminum foil and wrap them up. I put them in the oven at 375 for 15 to 20 minutes or on the grill. Any fish and veggie combo works great. Each person has their own pouch and opens up the steaming hot fish packet, squirts lemon juice, and dives in. Easy clean-up. You should try it!

We have done the pouches before. That is an excellent way to cook and serve fish. Easy prep and easy cleanup. I am trying to move away from talapia, just because of the possibility of contamination from the producers in China. We tried haddock, but it was pretty "fishy" tasting. Any recommendations on something else to try?
