Yesterday I bought 8 turkeys to smoke for friends for Christmas. Thanksgiving was only 7 so it looks like Christmas is more of a turkey day than Thanksgiving. We are very non-traditional for both holidays. Thanksgiving is a smoked prime rib and Christmas is shrimp and grits. Now that I've found Conecuh here I'm looking forward to trying it in the shrimp'n grits.
MERRY CHRISTMAS to all!

I am going BGE smoked chicken breasts and pork loin for early celebration this week. My Mom is cooking a ham the old fashioned way for Christmas. Then, I will pork loin again for mid week after Christmas. We string 'em out!

Hope to smoke a porko shoulder for a traditional Cuban Christmas Eve celebration.
That is a pork shoulder(Picnik, not Butt) smoked mucho hours with Mojito sauce (Google it). Tender Mojito Pork with black beans and rice, along with fried ripe bananas (Maduros), also with Mojito.
Follow on with a Coconut Flan for desert. Break.... Cuban/Espresso Coffee.. Then a serving of Turrones before a nap.....
