I’m looking for a covered boat dock to rent for the summer, preferably between Hwy 24 two bridges and Saddlers Creek areas.  Can be a dock only property but easily accessible.  Would be docking a 24 ft runabout ski boat.  Call David at 864-934-8163

There are several marinas that rent docks depending on your needs.

You can find info about the marinas on line.  Harbor Light Marina; Portman Marina; Hartwell Marina; Big Water Marina; and Clemson Marina are the ones that I am most familiar with.

Please keep in mind that if you plan on leaving you boat in the water there are some areas within the lake that may cause an orange film on the bottom of your boat.  It's very difficult to remove.  We have lived at a condo on Lake Hartwell since 1998.  We found that using a boat lift helps.  That being said,  several friends who also live on the lake and don't seem to have this problem with their location.  They are located in a cove off the big water area.  Our dock is located closer to Anderson near the exit 19 which gets a lot of boat traffic.  So please use caution.
