Boat fuel tank question. Fuel guage reads about 1/2 full. Fill up at marina with 25 gallons ($119.00!!!!).

The problem is the specs say the tank is 27 gallons.

Bad guage or sender unit at tank?? Recommendations??

Sounds like a good reason for me to come for a visit, and pick up that prop.  oh yea, check for snakes before I get there.  Mulligan through me a curve on his boat.

And, by the way, we do a standard snake check around the engine with each new launch. They have been known to sleep in that well between the engine and the fuel tank compartment. Kinda' makes the uninitiated do a little funny dance when discovered....
