about a century ago the powers that be in Washington decided that alcoholic beverages should be banned and the 18th amendment was passed. after it was decided that subsequently that the prohibition was not a good idea and the 21st amendment was passed repealing the 18th.
that is what needs to be done with the boat ban. there needs to be a state constitutional amendment that prohibitis banning such boats. if the people believe that such should not be banned then they will vote.
all who oppose the big boat ban should talk to their state senators and representatives and ask that a bill be introduced permitting a referendum on the the issue.
i am not sure, but i believe that a constitutional amendment can also be brought by petition.
if such an amendment is passed it would be very difficult to get it reversed and would require a vote of he people
I AM A HOBO AND I WOULD SUPPORT THE AMENDMENT.
