While visiting family and friends during the holidays invariably someone comes up with a old saying that I have never heard before.  One relative was supposed to have remembered to do something that was important, and, of course, forgot.  Upon realizing this he said "Well you know my memory is as short as a cat's peter"   They claimed that grandmother used to say it.  Never heard that one before....just saying.

You've heard it before, but your memory is shorter than the hairs on a merkin bench.

Maybe that's why your peppers looked so good in that picture...pickled on the vine...did you get them all picked before the freezes hit?

NC State and W. VA start at 630, then the wusses in Philly will play without snow. Iowa and Missouri at 10 for the night owls. A good night for football!

I almost had a football emergency....after spending the weekend in GA, I got home today and the Dish receiver wasn't working correctly. Don't know what happened, but it took 2 reboots and a phone call. All is well but whew, that was close; thought I was going to have to drive the toon to see Lakngulf or Talisi.

Yes DIRT, indeed they are. But they are CATagorized! Cat peckers are seemingly small to the ordinary person. BUT, there are BIG CATs, and small CATS. Peckers are sized accordingly. Some Cat peckers will bite, while others purrrrrrr. Some Cat peckers are very aggressive, some are not. Remember, CATs hisssss, have teeth and climb. Small Cats aka. Kittens cuddle, and they are gentle and attractive. Some Cats have to be declawd, aka. nutered. O: There are Lizards, and Alligators. Although they may share a remarkable likeness, they are very different in attitude, aggressiveness, some even change colors! If liazrds loose there tail, it grows back. YEP, indeed it does. (for various reasons, depending on locality and habitat). Lizards, unlike Alligators browse the plants and flowers, looking for tiny insects and bugs. Alligators spend the day resting, laying in the Sun. Waiting for just the right moment, when a Lizard lover my stroll by. (aka. Sexy woman) So, you....being an aggressive female (Hodja will explain later) that calls Alligators Lizards means you are either Sheltered big time..... Don't get out much.... Or just too dang good. JUST SAYIN'
