In terms of gaslighting anyway.  Latest aBS/WaPo poll indicates that the Biden WH feeble minded attempt to convince the American people not to believe their own lying eyes, their own personal finances and what many of us who are still able to think critically would call reality has been an abject, unmitigated disastrous failure.  Some highlights.....or lowlights if you are Goofy, with one very big caveat.  This is only one poll and others have been better for Biden, but none have shown him in good shape on the economy., immigration or his senility.

Brandon Overall Job Approval - 37%  Disapproval - 56%

Brandon Economy Approval - 30%  Disapproval - 64%

Brandon Immigration Approval - 23%  Disapproval - 62%

State of the Nation's Economy - Good or Very Good - 25%  Bad or Very Bad - 74%

So, how does this translate into a matchup with Trump?  Among registered voters Trump is ahead by 10% (9% for all adults).  This is much worse than the RCP average which shows them mostly even.  Some worrying trends if you are a Democrat.  Trump has increased his lead with men from 16% in May to 30% today.  He also leads with adults under age 35 by 20%, which if true is beyond amazing.  And Biden only leads Trump by 9% among non-white voters.  Saw recently someone predicting if he is convicted his take of black voters would be 30% (note: I do not believe this projection).  Those who didn't vote in 2020 (around 15% of registered voters) favor Trump by 63% to 27%.  And in this poll 74% said Biden is too old to be President while only 50% say the same about Trump and 48% say they are both too old.

So why this poll and why now?  It is part of the early stages of replacing Biden as the nominee.  Dr. Jill, who has a PhD by the way, ain't gonna let that happen if she can help it.  But they are going to try anyway.  And all this before impeachment hearings where we will see in great, gory detail the corruption, the bribes, the quid pro quo.  If too many of them think he can't win watch what happens if this goes to a vote.  They won't get rid of Biden because he is old and senile, has been an abject failure, his immigration policies have been a disaster, his energy policies are killing domestic production, he is slow walking us into WW3, etc., etc., etc......nope, they will push him aside only because they think he cannot win.

Just returned from a week long business trip to the left socialist coast.  I was paying $6.70-$7.00/gal for regular unleaded.  The UBER drivers that I talked to were waiting 30-45 minutes on average to charge  their Tesla's and depending on the time of day, the cost per charge was anywhere from 30-60$.  California encourages citizens to turn off their AC between 4-9pm, and if you don't, you sure pay more per kw.  Water bills on average 300-400/mo.  They said that they have to be careful with flushing toilets in order save money.  $2400 for a 1br/1ba apartment per month for lodging 50-70 miles away from your primary work environment.  I could go on, but when asked WHY do they continue to live like this, the overwhelming response was, "where else can you have weather like this?"

My condolences that you had to leave the country for a biz trip to CA.  Sadly my son took a new job with a company based out of San Diego (he lives in Austin) and is starting to regret it as he may have to move there.  He figures he'll need a 20% to 30% bump in salary just to stay even (which isn't going to happen) and will have to exchange his 4BR home in a nice area of Austin for a 1BR apartment and pay more for rent than for his mortgage.  And he goes from no state income tax to one of the highest in the country.  I suspect he is job hunting right now to avoid the move.  

I've spent plenty of time in CA on both business and pleasure and I can assure you that there is not enough nice weather to ever get me to consider living there.  The problem in that state is that it is experiencing economic apartheid.  Only the very wealthy and the underclass can afford it.  Everyone else is being squeezed out.  Unfortunately Biden is trying to make that a reality for the rest of us with inflation, interest rates and energy costs.  The question in my mind is whether the poll reflects reality and people are not interested in more of his destruction or is it a psyops like we heard about the supposed red wave that became a ripple.

Nothing can stop what's coming, it had to be this way, the military is in control, ya da ya da !  Gods gifts include faith, hope and charity (love) and the great of these is love.  The devil has proved a formidable foe and the future for our kids and grandkids in the economy is dire.  I know I'm aware now of all the evil that coexisted with my life and I pray one of the hopeful events come true!

According to Biden's Press Secretary, he has been "laser focused" to reduce costs for Americans.  I wish he'd turn off his laser - every policy gets worse for Americans.
