I can't remember the name of the place, but it's where 50 and 229 meet in Red Hill. (It's also a U-Haul place.) They worked on our pontoon last year, and were pretty much the only place around that did that kind of welding. The only downside is that you have to bring your boat to them; they don't do house calls or pick-ups. But that's a small price to pay for great work.

I stopped by there a couple of weeks ago asking about the same welding job on pontoon boat fin. They do weld the fins but as stated you have to take your boat to them. Also, it is first come, first served and there were four or five boats there waiting in line. My problem is I don't have a trailer. Cost would be $150 to $200 dollars.

Terry is the guys name at the intersection of 229/50. Done work for me a few times. Always spot on and reasonable. If there is a big need depending on the weld and how much water has to drain he can sometimes work u in for quick turn around. He's the best around the lake...want the best wait for it. Plenty of trailers for rent around lake. Good work and good people.
