Looking into my crystal bowl, I see next year when the 2 percentage point reduction ends, the Republican controlled House will say no way are we going to allow a tax increase back to the current rate. Rather, they will use it as an opportunity to push for privatizing SS with the 2 points. The party of Truman, Kennedy, Clinton, and Obama will regret the action they are now taking.

Not nearly as close as it would if Palin were elected President.

I used my stimulus money to buy a Waterford bowl which serves a dual purpose. I use it to hold my keys and food stamp card in addition to predicting the future. It works better than conservative crystal balls.

I cart my stuff in my truck which will look real manly next to your BMW. I even throw some empty beer cans in the bed to appear alittle redneck and use my dash as my filling cabinet to look like a local. Ain't got no girly Prius. But, I did vote for Al Gore.

People should be able to choose how their SS funds are invested ... rather than loaning them to the government to waste.
If you believe the government is the best place to hold your money .... you should empty out your 401K and send it to the feds and ask them to put in to your SS fund ... oh wait, there is not one ... it is a government run ponzi scheme.

Pointing out that there is no fund and that Social Security is a bankrupt system headed to failure will only aggravate him more. It is indeed a classic Ponzi scheme that if any of us ran we would be in a cell right next to Bernie Madoff.....another big Dem by the way.
As for me, I long ago concluded I will never see a dime from my FICA taxes and am planning on my own retirement resources sans any help from the federal government. I just hope they don't take those away as well......

If I give a "loan" to someone (except the daughter), I expect repayment - call it what it is - yet another tax on me and my employer. I just cannot figure out how someone could be so helpless that they blindly look to DC to solve all of their problems.....

I like your crystal bowl.....hope it works.
