When there is some positive economic news the Right runs and hides. I have to wonder if the Right really wants a better economy before the 2012 election.
WASHINGTON (AP) -- The economy is showing new life in the final months of the year.
Factories are busier, construction spending is up, and auto sales are rising. And on Wednesday the stock market had its best day since September after a report that the private sector hired the most workers in three years.
The Dow Jones industrial average jumped more than 2 percent, enough to erase nearly two weeks of losses. Analysts said investors concluded that a stronger job market would support higher stock prices.

The economy runs off of confidence. Perhaps there is some "quiet" confidence in the recent elections.

Not quiet ... just do not always shoot our mouths off like the left (and you).
But where is the great economic news? I think it is great we are not headed in to a double dip recession ... but initial jobless claims jumped again this morning ... we need 300,000 plus jobs being created to start the unemployment rate moving down. They are talking GDP growth still in the 2.5% range ... QE2 is driving the dollar so low we run the risk of a dollar collapse.
You should count your blessings that the american people came to their senses and voted out the extreme left that is destroying our country ... there is more confidence and that is because we will finally have some leadership back in washington after the first of the year. You are already seeing some of the effect of that.
Once the Bush tax cuts are extended for everyone ... you will see even more confidence return.
The right has always wanted the economy to prosper ... no one wanted Obama and the left to fail ... they did it all by themselves with their policies.

And new housing starts are at the lowest level in 27 years... Ergo, this home builder will not renew his license for 2011.. Hate it but uncertanity regarding increasing small business tax, health insurance liability and flat economy makes it necessary.. Alas, on the 20th aniversary of the corporation..

foot in your mouth again ... I am embarrassed for you. No wonder you shoot your mouth off and then when asked questions you never answer. All you can do is throw darts and post comments from the liberal rags you read rather than have an original thought of your own.

Just as GF announced all the great economic news unemployment jumps to 9.8%.......way to go GF, maybe its better to stay quiet and enjoy what little good economic news we get before the other shoe drops. Timing is everything and yours on this post leaves a little to be desired.
By the way, I am always buoyed by good economic news......especially now that we are less than a month from the GOP running the House and two years away from getting control of the Senate and maybe even sending the Messiah onto the lecture circuit with the other hate America ex President, the worthless one Jimmy Carter.
