Are they finally gone? What about all the other important topics left uncovered? Water quality? Renew Our Rivers clean-ups? Shoreline management? Seems like there are many other issues that Smith Lake Stakeholders have in common that SLISA is not around to address....

We are big boys! Why do we need SLISA for water quality, trash pick up, etc? This is an individual responsibility. What SLISA has done is highlight the permit process and the role that Gorgas plays in water level changes on Smith Lake.

By the way, Where have you been Ivan?

Is SLISA still around and operating? If so, why couldn't SLISA address some of these other lake questions in addition to water level?

-Whether one did or did not agree with SLISA on water-level issues, I think most would admit that SLISA got APC to listen to the voice of the lake people (-hmmm, the "lake People" --sounds like a Tolkien novel). Anyway, I would guess that the SLISA voice and influence could be used on other lake issues as well, not only with APC but also with the three County governments.

-just a thought for consideration.
