FYI,  Alabama Lake residents/visitors should be aware of important changes beginning November 1, 2019.  Marine Patrol as of November 1, 2019 will be a part-time agency on the water jpb.  They will work 3 days on the highway and only 2 days on the water.  This is stated by ALEA/Highway Patrol command staff.

Associated with this is House Bill 9. House Bill 9 will put the ALEA water patrol back into conservation as was the case prior to 2014.  Please review House Bill 9 and contact your state of Alabama lawmakers.
