Yep, I heard those pink snakes with yellow stripes were Cat Snakes.

I caught a decent bass out there Tuesday night (about 3 pounds), but didn't see any stripers all week. Other than that one fish, not much was biting all week anywhere in the slough, however, I am missing one rod and reel; Chris left one rigged up off my floating dock with a piece of hot-dog and I think a catfish may be dragging it around. We didn't see any snakes; feel free to keep them down at your place.

all of a sudden the stripers left. If you saw my post in fishing it seems the one feeding while we were out there may have been the last visitor.

the snake was the first I have seen in quite a while.
