Is this Forum completely dead? It has had no activity in well over a year.

Water is expected to rise to 4' above full pool on Wednesday 12/30/2015. Yesterday alone it came up over 4.5 feet. This will create havoc on the rec lots.

Yep,  don't understand why more folks in my area are not doing more to secure boats and other items. Got mine out of the boat house yesterday.

We have quite a collection of logs and bottles in our yard now. The dock is way under water. Now it is raining again, Oh joy!

So why is it that Martin is 4 feet under summer pool and Weiss is headed for 4 feet over summer pool?   Makes little sense.  If it gets to 568, maybe all of the underwater log jams will get cleaned up...or make new ones that we can run into.

The lake should be a lot cleaner after this. I watched logs and trash Headed across the lake, when they get in Line with my place they make a 90 degree turn and come right up in the yard. I had not heard that about lake Martin. We have plenty to share

we have a couple of places on the island sub. phase #1 rec. lots on the river part of lake weiss... We went down on christmas for a little while, rain started hard that afternoon, the river was running hard, lots of trash, trees, etc.... when we left that evening the water was almost up to our bottom dock. We tried to go back last night after church but could not get in because of the road being flooded.  Saw an article that 11 people and 4 dogs had to be rescued by emergency from there and  That the water was chest deep.... ugh..... Suppose to crest on Wed. so that means that our bottom dock, roof dock, living area, and camper will probably be flooded. :(
