My impression from the press conference is that they are going to go very slowly and not make any mistakes that would jeapordize the case against the perps.  They definitely made the point that ALEA and the DA are not going to be bullied into giving more information to satisfy the media.  
I think most people are just wondering about the motive, because taking lives and changing the lives of all the young people that were there just seems so unforgivable.  I know that life is cheap now.  They probably know that in addition to the criminal cases there are going to be civil cases as well.  Also probably do noit want it said that Alabama didn't pay attention because it is essentially black on black crime; or that Alabama law enforcent rushed to judgement and accused black people without a solid case.  

I thought that they hit the right tone about doing it for the victims and the families.  I think any adult can imagine themselves in the shoes of these parents.  Even if your child wasn't seriously physically injured in this incident, there will be emotional issues, because I don't anyone goes through something like that and being scared out of your mind, without an afteraffect.
