Hey snake,

Been fishing Chickamauga for 20+ years. I don't fish for bass much this time of year, tear them up at night in the summer and fishing the jumps in the fall. I'd say you might try flipping along the main channel. I haven't seen any bass of size shallow, thats where I'm getting crappie. Few bass but they are small and fishing with live bait some too. Towards evening fish are blowing up in some of the sloughs and back in the creeks in 8 or 10 feet of water. Look like bass but I don't go after them, they start up about an hour before dark in these area's. Probably not much help, but good luck, and good to see someone actually posted here!
