For Christmas, I got a jar of local honey and I have been enjoying it.  It has a much richer taste than anything that I've bought in the grocery store.  I've read that most of the stuff in the grocery store isn't even from the US -- apparently honey is another thing we import from China.  Got to read those labels.  Ever notice how often it says "distributed by" some US country, but of course that is not the same as being made or origin US.
