One night at Camp David in the middle of his adminestration Jimmy Carter was awakened by the ghost of Teddy Roosevelt. "How are things," he asked Jimmy?

   "Not too good. The Iranians have stormed our imbassy and are holding our people hostage."

   "Well, you sent in the Marines, didn't you" Asked Teddy?

    "Well, no I didn't. I didn't know what to do so I didn't do anything."

    "And you know the Russians invaded Afghanistan!"

    "You droped a nuke on Moscow didn't you?'

      "No, I was afraid to."

      "Well, Hell", Teddy said. "If I had acted like that in my adminestration we might have even lost the Panama Canal!"
