5-6 June 2011 - Lake Guntersville – We’ve had a GREAT two days on the water all with returning clients; It started out Sunday morning with Grandpa, Cooper and Tyler and then Sunday Afternoon and all day today with Greg and Benny. Everyone caught lots of fish and good fish at that, I even got in on some of the best action I’ve seen in the past three weeks. We caught them on top and on the bottom, most of all our good fish came on Jigs in 8-10 FOW. Water temps are steady at low to mid 80’s. We fished in the mid lake area; fishing road beds, shell beds, shallow weeds and ledges. Our better fish came on Tightline Football Head Jig’s (Guntersville Special) to include a 7.5 pound bucket, Lucky Craft Sammy’s, t-rigged sped worms, Assassinator Buzzbaits , Spinnerbaits and plastics. Most of the fish are still in the 2-3.5 pound range with a several 4-5 pound fish in the mix. The more consistent Frog/Rat bite is not far off, in several areas around the lake the grass is just under the surface and some areas starting to top out already. I have days available in June and I'm already booking days for the July and August, make your reservations now for some great summer time action on Guntersville and Nickajack. We supply all fishing gear, lures at no additional cost to you and 110% dedication to making your trip successful. Make your reservations now for some great action on Tennessee River. “Let’s go fish’ in”
