22 Aug 2010 - Lake Guntersville - Fished this morning with Rusty from Chattanooga, his better half arranged this trip for his birthday!   We started the morning with a great spinnerbait bite in the back of S. Sauty.  We caught several nice fish on a Pro Assassinator Clacker Spinnerbait, white in color along the outside weed line in 4-6 foot of water.  The water temp had cooled to 85 degrees from the heavy stroms the night before.  The morning started with a thick cloud cover, but the tail end of the front moved past and gave us blue bird skies around 9 O'clock.  The bite purdy much was gone once this happened...moved out to the main channel mats, only had two blow ups on frogs...we are booking already for September and earlier October...give me a call or drop me an email and lets go fish'in

16 Aug 2010 - Lake Guntersville - Spent the day with a client from the Cookville TN area who called Sunday night,  bite was slow, but  we did manage to captialize on a few good fish...this was a perfect exapmle of "Dog Days of Summer"  We started out in North Sauty and ended up fishing ledges in front of Sebo...each location we stop at produced a couple of fish.  All in all we end the day with our five best coming in around 14 pounds with on really nice 6.54 Greg stuck on a SWL Buzz Bait...Frog bite was not happening...trick worms worked slow on the ledges produced the best numbers.  Look for the frog bite to improve over the next two months as we get into the fall weather patterns...Start planning your trip to the mighty G'ville now, I have days availble in September and we are booking into October already!!!!  "Let's go Fish'in"
