Hi, Folks!  I'm an open water swimmer living in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and I'm currently training for a marathon swim event in the Tennessee River later this year.  I've never been to Weiss Lake, but I'll be visiting the lake near Centre, Alabama in August with my family, and would like to know if it's a good place to swim... is the water clean?  Is there a lot of powerboat traffic?  Anything else I need to know about it?  Some of my family members are planning to bring kayaks, so I'm hoping to do a long swim there accompanied by kayaks.  I'd like to hear from anyone who's done some swimming in Weiss Lake.  Thanks!
