OK, nobody interested. So go buy a frozen one at Publix.
But a comment on getting good, fresh peaches at all. IMHO large growers are picking early(green) and shipping in mass to North Dakota, or Canada, or Minnesota, where peach eaters experience a delightful peach that looks great, but tastes like a piece of flavored cardboard, very much like our Winter peaches. IMHO. I no longer visit Peach Parks, or larger markets to buy peaches. I'll take a roadside stand, as LNG states, where I can believe the peaches come from a small grower who has not signed a contract for next year with a conglomerate for the prime and the culls for the locals. So There!!
