You guys at Lake Travis have a great event to look forward to, as this event was held at Lake Martin last year and the event coordinators estimated 30,000 people and over 4,000 boats throughout the day.
The event at Martin could only be viewed by boat. Event coordinators set up the stage on land with huge plasma TVs on with side (we were back about 200 yards and could still see the TV and hear the music), then a VIP barge filled with sand about 20 yards out in the water, then they had a swim area in front of the stage. Then they had mooring buoy lines set up to accommodate about 1,500 boats with water taxis to take you friends to and from land. We were allowed to tie off out boats on Friday afternoon.
Have fun as this is a once in a life time event and definitely professionally managed. Great for time for friends and family of all ages.
