Subject:	Water levels

Have contract on house on Tennessee Ave, Estill Springs.  Deck is currently underwater, floating do k is OK.  Is this common.  Should deck have been built higher than 888 ft.

Basement is aLso collecting  water through the foundation.  This is from rain runoff, not lake level.  Foundation is concrete block. Front is ground level with slope so basement is walkout toward lake.  Suspect this might be able to be fixed with French drains and proper landscaping.

Would appreciate any comments/suggestions from lake veterans.
