Patoka Lake is a wonderful fishery, full of big Bass, Crappie, Catfish, Stripers and Sunfish. The water was low when we found these Stripers. The water is six and a half feet above pool so it's in the brush and trees..perfect for catching Bass that are shallow to feed. Patoka is a beautiful, wild lake. Don't be surprised to see Deer drinking along it's banks. All kinds of wild animals call Patoka Lake their home. Fox, Owl's and Bald Eagles are regularly seen. I'm 60 years old now, and just wish I were younger so I could fish Patoka more! :)
