I live in Ga and I live in Alabama on LM. I will say this, when Ga saw that it may be a drought this year they took advantage of that and filled two of the lakes up early ( Allatoona and Carters). You can say they are pretty smart, they know where a lot of money is made. So they got the level up fast ahead of time and then maintained it. There was plenty of water coming from Ga but the APCO was not smart enough to hold some of it back early in LM. I saw the level go up and then be sucked dry every week early this year. I have always said they have no problem maintaining the levels on the coosa chain above and below us, so why not fill us up early and maintain it. Someone is just not liked on LM. All I want to do is have fun on a lake I love to be on and its hard to do when we are being jerked around. Another thing is in Ga they alow your dock ( if it is a floating dock) to have a wheel system that allows it to be out further if it does become dry so you can at least dock your boat. I think its all political.

I agree with you . If the local politicans in Pell City , Lincoln, Riverside and other areas of LM would wise up and realize how much money they were loosing by letting APCO jerk everyone around. We have a gold here with over 200 miles of shore line and no will take advantage of it. I live waterfront in Lincoln but Im about ready to give APCO the old NY one finger wave as I leave this area in search of a place to spend my money and float my boat
