will be open near the intersection of 34 and 49 in a few weeks. These are the same folks that have the oyster bar on S. College in Auburn. I've eaten there a few times - the oysters are always fresh and the food is good. I'm looking forward to a couple of dozen a week.

great! Had several dozen on P.C. beach @ Christmas and @ the Fish Market in B'ham. My favorite are the baked with swiss cheese and hot sauce though.

Eat at the one in Auburn all the time. Food is GREAT! This would be a great addition to restaurants in the area, that are full on weekends and during the summer. Hope they have the same/similar menu. Anybod know exactly where? There are some empty buildings at the "shopping center" at the 49/34 intersection.

Sure would be nice if they rented Bay Pine Marina or Frankies and located on the water. We just need more on the water.I'm ready for a good hamburger place. The Bay Pine Marina has an existing BBQ Pit Restaurant just sitting there doing nothing.

Roger that. We are in the Parker Creek area and anything south of Alex city or Dadeville on the east side is effectively out of reach by car. Why come to the lake just to spend an hour and a half in the car going to eat?

Now an hour and a half on the pontoon, that's another story!!

Do they serve things other than oysters? Got to keep the kiddies happy.

The store in Auburn has much more than oysters, and children's palate's should be satisfied. I spoke to the owner (kick myself for not writing down his name), and he indicated there would be a range of menu items - something for everyone. He had me at fresh oysters and col' beer.
