Sweet revenge to be #1 and the smart mouthed auburn fans are sucking wind. I do not hate auburn just the obnoxious fans that have been rubbing it in the last few years. If we did not win a game the rest of the year it would still be a great year. Next year is looking good with all of these freshmen.

Still, and always. Auburn has a bad year, and Bama has a good year, and will probably win on Nov. 29 this year. Bragging rights move from East for 6 years to West for the current year. Everybody likes to win, right?
What really gets to me is a "Fair Weather Fan", one who will only admit to being a fan if his team is "WINNING". Losing year? Disappears.
Don't you NoAlias become one of those "smart mouthed" fans who does not know how to compete with Class.

I don't believe the Auburn-Alabama game has been played yet this year, so the streak still stands at 6.

Chances are really good that this year the streak will be broken.

But it might not. As they say, stranger things have happened, and in this game records go out the window when the teams line up on the field.

Good luck to both teams.

And if you want to truly witness "obnoxious", listed to Finebaum on occasion.....

A workmate asked me yesterday if I had a choice would I rather Alabama win and end the streak plus continue the National Title hopes or have McCain win.

As bad as I would hate to see it happen I would have given up wins against LSU and Auburn to have seen McCain win.

As a lifelong Auburn fan and alum, I would say the same thing about the rest of our season as well, BUT it looks as if we will probably lose out anyway. I hear that Tennessee-Martin has a darn good team. With an awesome OB that left SC because of Spurrier. Anyone know for sure?
