“Rutgers University professors and students are crying foul over the school's decision to invite former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice to speak at this year's commencement ceremony.

 “’Condoleezza Rice ... played a prominent role in the administration’s effort to mislead the American people about the presence of weapons of mass destruction,’ the faculty resolution said. 

“The resolution said Rutgers should not honor Rice because of her role in the war in Iraq and the Bush administration’s policy of "enhanced interrogation techniques," such as waterboarding, the report said.” - - [Fox News, 06MAR14]

Sooooo… Dr. Rice played a PROMINENT ROLE in the effort to mislead the American people? What about Senator Obama’s role… and John “Stolen Valor” Kerry… and Hilary… and Pelosi… and Senate Democrats… and House Democrats… and leading, international intelligence agencies… and Bill Clinton. 

What if WMD wasn’t a lie? Who would have been held responsible if we DID NOT invade Iraq? 

It only became a Republican lie after the Democrats lost the White House. Until then… the Democrats' consensus was for the presence of WMD.

Maj, you are surely not expecting intellectual honesty out of the left, especially mind numbed college students, are you?!?!?  My significant experience with them is that not only are they invincibly ignorant, they are self righteous about it.  Using facts, logic and reason, pointing out the results of studies that refute their claims, and so on are simply a waste of time and energy.  They have lost the ability to think critically and just emote because it makes them feel good about themselves. It is why I hold them in such low regard.

There WERE INDEED WMD!  They were moved to Syria (we have satellite imagery to support this statement).  The nuclear materials were destroyed by a nighttime air strike by you-know-who.  The chemical weapons came in handy for Assad just this past year.

Huh?  Surely you don't think the Syrians created WMD without anyone suspecting.  They didn't just appear out of the ether.

When we invaded Iraq, the WMD went off the market... and were donated to Syria.

   Another small fact that the left seems to have overlooked is the 10,000 Kurds Sadam killed. He used sarin, a nerve gas, not witch craft! We gave him months to hide everything and supprise, supprise, we didn't find anything. I may be from the old school but i think that 10,000 bodies is pretty good evedence of WMD!

Surely Rutgers loss.  My oldest son heard her speak at Birmingham Southern a few years back and said she was articulate, truthful, non partisan, not vindictive (considering the abuse that she takes) and knew her football!
