What would it take to have a really good party at the lake of people who we only know as an Alias on the Forum??
I'm talking about 200 folks. What would bring them out??
I mean name tags// the whole thing. I mean, what does Big Foot actually look like? Come see, and eat a rib.
Think that is even possible any more??

If you want to host an event this summer, I'm  pretty sure I can get 200 folks to show up.....You set the date and plan the menu, and I'll take care of the rest....you could set a record; our biggest event so far is about 50 people.

I will help.  Sounds fun.  You thinking at someones house on the water?  A public place with out water?  Perhaps here or another business?

Not at my place for sure,, not nearly enough room. We had an engagement party with @70 people. They all insisted on staying on the porch with the food and kegs,, all the time. I was praying the guy who built the support under the porch did a good job.
Cat? What about your place? I know you had a Christmas(?) party there, but the weather as I recall was terrible, including icy roads.
I was thinking come one, come all. Bring your best food (ribs/chix/butt/brisket/tater salad/beans/peppers/slaw/mex cornbread/pie/cake/pizza/fried chix/burgers) Maybe have a BGE and a Traeger on hand for a little duel?? BYOB.
Name tags with alias from Forum. Maybe promote it at marinas as well as the forum?? Afternoon in April/May?
Maybe it wouldn't work at all. Kinda' hard to get folks out and about sometimes.

Cat and I we're talking about something like that last week at his place...the party he did before was New Years eve  2010. We've also done an event at Harbor Docks and several smaller ones at local eateries.  I've also been discussing options with John C, Talisi, Dang Yankee, Cat and others on what we may do to reinvent an event to replace Aquapalooza (now that it has been dud-bombed).  More top come.

I'm all in for sure. I just hope Ulysses don't make everyone sick from his cooking. Just kidding. You come by and we will pick a date. Sounds like fun to me.

Can you offer CatHouse LM for such an event?? Maybe a Saturday in May? Your place solves many logistics hurdles like parking, restrooms, power, etc. Is liability any problem??
The majority of folks on the Forum seem to be located from Trillium to the East and North. No expense to you.
What do you think?

It's sounding like the Lake Martin BBQ Championship. I'll bet the restaurants around CAT would participate too....
