I follow various stock indexes around the world. One that I follow closely is the Botswana Domestic Companies Index which consists of only those companies traded in Botswana.

The index since August has held steady in the range of 7400 to 8500. Today, it dropped 6893 points from 8454 to 1561. I have exchanged emails with contacts in Botswana for both confirmation and reasons behind such a precipitous one day drop. Based on the response, it appears that the negative postings by the Right on this forum about Barack have had a direct effect on the negative investor confidence in Botswana.

I emailed back to my contact to assure him that Obama was doing well in the polls. I explained the impact that ACORN has had on the number registered. Additionally, I explained that since Bush stole the election from Gore in 2000, most Democrats have been burying their dead above ground since it makes it so much easier to drag them to the polls.

GF, you may be devoid of any logical or reasonable response to the mean ole right-wingers on this forum, but at least you have a (warped) sense of humor.

Now about all those unanswered challenges....you gonna wait until His Majesty is crowned and then hide behind his coat tails? Or are you going attempt to use logic and reasoned thought with us? Might be a refreshing change - if you can do it. We are waiting.

Don't hold your breath. GF does not have his own point of view, he chases the coat tails and is blinded by his liberal beliefs.

Just heard on CNBC from a reporter that was assigned to Kerry in 2004. He and his aides in the last week were calling him Mr President, toasting him, etc. They were convinced he won based on the polls. Maybe GF did not see that Bush won a second term after he "stole" the election in 2000.

I just love that phrase coming from a Democrat. See Mayor Dailey, Chicago, dead people voting, prisoners voting, etc. "Glass Houses " reign supreme in your world GF. And, how do you feel about having to show an ID to vote? Pure discrimination, right GF?

I know you liberals are still crying over 2000 when your liberal friend Al Gore lost.

You can still cry about Floridaand that Bush "stole" the election, but here are the facts.

Al Gore was a senator from TN
Al Gore was vice president for 8 years
TN has 3 electoral votes
Al Gore lost TN.
Had Al Gore won his home state he would have been president.

If a guy that is from TN, has been a senator and a vice president for 8 years can not carry his home state, that should say something. I am sure they know him better than anyone. He "lost" the election because he could not carry his home state, if he had Florida would not have mattered at all.

Now look at the guy, while he shaved his beard, he is still going around hugging trees and telling people they should reduce their carbon footprint ... while he does not even practice what he preaches - flying on private jets, his home consumes 4 times the energy of the average home.

Not take Bush that people say is in the pockets of oil companies ... he has a home with solar, collects rain water, etc. Very environmentally friendly.

Perfect difference between a conservative and a liberal. The conservative does what is right and does not make a big deal about it .... while a liberal goes around with a lot of talk telling others what they should do when they dont do it themselves.

You mean kinda like McCain having empathy for the middle class when he and Cindy own 7 homes and 13 cars.

Again .... an off topic response. Do you have adult ADD? You comment on how Bush stole the election, that what I responded too ... why change the subject.

As for McCain and his wife owning several homes ... so what. First of are his wife's that were inherited when her perents died. If you read the story of Cindy her family came from humble begining and started a beer distributor that became very successful. She did not just sit back and enjoy being rich, she went to scool and then went to foreign countries to help the needy and even adopted the black daughter they have.

So what should they do ... just sell those houses? That is typical of liberal "envy" and the redistribution of wealth. Just because someone else was successful, take it away from them to "even" things out. THOSE WERE OBAMAS WORDS. We need to even things out to make it more fair. If that is that is not socialism, i must be wrong.

I understand that you know I am right that if Gore just won his own home state of TN with the 3 electoral votes you could not cry that Bush stole the election.

I and many others understand you do not want to admit it because then you could not cry how Gore should have been president in 2000 .... even though Bush got reelected in 2004. That is why we know you are so excited about the potential you may get a liberal in the whitehouse .... first since Carter because Clinton was not nearly as left as Obama. In fact Obama spoke out and voted AGAINST Clinton eliminating welfare. Now he says it was a good thing. But at the time he did not want to see a socialist program like welfare being eliminated.
