I caught the second half of the debate last evening, and I agree that Ms. Klobuchar performed well.  However, if she is to become the first woman president, I don't believe it will happen next year.  She is lagging too far in the polls and is  way too moderate for the left-wing nuts currently in control of the democratic party.

Archie, you really need to grow up and stop taking your talking points from the govt media about the cult silliness.  As with the media, I don't think you know what that word means and why it doesn't even remotely apply to Trump supporters.  But more to the point, please do keep following Hillary's stupid lead and insult people that you may hope to convnce to vote for your preferred candidate.  It worked so well for her....not.

As for the debate, I am with 97% of the country and didn't bother to watch a bunch of leftists vying to be the next person to lose to Trump.  As for how excited you are about her, she has literally zero chance.  It will be a geriatric white guy as the nominee, demonstrating I suppose that the Democrat party is loaded up with racists and mysoginists cause none of the people of color or women made it.  And frankly, had the DNC not greased the skids for Hillary in 2016 the nominee would have Bernie Marx...oops, I mean Castro.....uh, Sanders.

On the stage last night there were 2 women, an Asian, a Jew, a gay married man and 3 people in their 70's.  By typical GOP standards that is a a pretty diverse group!

Now, look at the crowed at a typical Trump rally and tell me there are no trappings of a personalty cult.  Except for the language being spoken, the visuals could just as easily be in Havana or Caracas.  You may not be a cultist but a lot of his followers sure would fall in that definition.

Archie, in the Republican debates in 2016 there were the following:  

1. Latino Senators Cruz and Rubio

2. Indian American - Gov Jindal

3. Gen X members Paul Ryan and Scott Walker

4. Boomers Santorum, Paul and Christie

5. Woman CEO Fiorina

6. Black Neurosurgeon Ben Carson

GOP diversity was actually saluted by CNN at the time.  This was not your stereotypical Republican slate.  And tell me Archie, how can you watch a Trump rally, or any rally for that matter, and be able to determine from the screen anyone's religious affiliation, sexual orientation, ethnicity, or wealth status?  Pot/Kettle???

before the GOP became a ''cult of personalty''.  Another time for you to face the truth...are you actually brain washed enough to think Donald Trump would ''permit'' that to happen today?

Neither of us can look at the attendees at a rally and know what is in their hearts, but either of us can make a pretty good guess and what I see at Trump rallies looks a lot like rallies in Havana or Caracas in 2019 and in fact those in Munich in 1932!  No dammit, don't get your knicker in a knot,  I'm not saying Trump is a NAZI, but a look at old newsreels will demostrate his rallies sure look a like those in 1930's Germany and 1920's Italy and I think you will agree there was a personalty cultism driving those meetings.  We are living in very dangerous times with a ''strong man'' wanna be at the helm.  That is my opinion and I am definitely not alone.

What was the ethnic/race/gender makeup of the Democrat Party serious contenders for the Preidency in 2012?  What makes 2020 any different other than the leader is a Republican?  

And, BTW, I think your comparisons to Cuba, Germany, etc are laughable, and again you don't have a clue what the pulse of the country really is with regard to Trump.  We value Trump for what he does, not who he is and if he stops doing the right thing he too will fall by the wayside.

Archie, if you recall there were no challenges to Obama when he ran for a second term either.  That's usually how it works with some exceptions.  And those usually occur when the incumbent is weak.....hence Reagan with Ford, Teddy with Jimmy Carter, etc.  For you to act like this is evidence of anything other than your TDS is sad and pathetic.....seek professional help.  Maybe you and Goofy can get a discount for group counseling and can take turns hugging your comfort teddy bear.
