that support TOTUS. He got about a 4% bump from the abortion/gay marriage convention they held in Charlotte. Should last about two weeks given the horrendous job numbers that shortly followed. As that news is absorbed by the public he will again drop down to a dead heat with Romney. Considering polling data around Reagan's victory over Carter and Clinton's victory over Bush 41 it really should not be a happy time for libs, especially with TOTUS stuck at around ~46%. Especially when you consider that historically undecided voters this late in the game overwhelmingly go for the challenger. On a related note, our employment picture today is worse than it was during the actual recession. Its no wonder all TOTUS/Biteme could argue is that they need more time. More time to make failed policies that have never worked work???? Now that is a weak argument bordering on absurd.

4% or 4 percentage points?  Makes a difference as you well know. From the multitude of uneducated right wing nuts, 4% sounds better. 4 percentage points is around 8% bump.

Before the convention they were dead even and after O is up 4%. That is a 4% bump, right? Where does the 8% come from, one poll?

Assume O at 46% before convention. 4% boost would be .46x.04 or 1.8% for a new 47.8%. 4 points would give you a new total of .46+.04=50%.  50%/46%=8.6% increase.

Relative versus absolute.  Whoopty f'ing do.  It won't last.

Its Romney's to win in the debates and it is Oblamer's to lose.

Next time I will be more explicit as the obvious is not always obvious to everyone.......

That most dems are mentally challenged, so it takes them a few times to understand a basic concept. Then when you consider they are in denial that their socialist dream has not worked, they try to create distractions by asking stupid questions that are obvious to anyone with a half of a brain.

I guess they are using the same math concepts to claim they have created 4.5 million new jobs during a period of time when we have the lowest labor participation rate in 30 years and unemployment over 11% (yes, I count those that have given up because, well, they are unemployed......duh!). Lets see how this works....over the last 3 1/2 years 8 million people have lost their jobs and 4.5 million have gotten jobs so we are declaring victory. And that doesn't even address the quality of jobs lost and the poor quality of jobs created. Remember when Dems once derided jobs at McD's but now we should celebrate those very same jobs. The only difference is who is POTUS......

when they talk about every other president jobs record it is from the date he took office and left office ... whether they inherited a recession or a booming economy ... yet somehow Oblamer gets a pass that he ignores his first year in office, even though he got everything he asked for ... then they start counting after we got a small recovery, which would have happened, probably even much stronger, had he done nothing.

Sorry to disappoint GF and you other libtards but TOTUS has apparently already lost 3% of the 4% bump......oh wait a second, I forgot to use fuzzy math.......he has lost 6% of the 8% bump that came out of the festival for abortion and gay marriage held by the Dems in Charlotte. By next week it will be gone altogether and I suspect as Romney is now freed to let loose his TV ads the Messiah's numbers will continue to erode. Apparently since nothing else is working Oblamer's campaign is falling back on blaming Bush. Unfortunately they can't point to one specific Bush policy that that caused the downturn. Was it tax cuts? I think not as the Messiah himself extended those cuts much to the protest of left wing nuts. Was it deficits? I think not as Bush's last budget had deficits of $169 billion and of course we know from hard experience that Oblamer deficits have all been above $1 trillion (that's $1,000 billion for the mathematically challenged). Was it Bush forcing the unworthy to take out risky mortgages that they could never repay? I think not as that program was started by Carter, greatly expanded by Clinton and ferociously protected by Dems such as Bawney Fwank, Chris (cheap mortgage) Dodd despite repeated attempts by the Bush admin and GOP members of Congress to reign in Fannie and Freddie. Nope, I can't come up with one reason why Bush was to blame other than he was POTUS when it happened.....not exactly fair but that is the way it is. Now if only govt media held Oblamer to the same standard RR (Romney/Ryan) would win a landslide. But alas, being the sycophantic left wing nuts that they are we will have to do this the hard way.
