As this continues to unfold, there is more and more talk of a Hillary run. It may not be an Obama choice, the democrat party may ask/tell him not to run. But his big ego may not allow him to bow out.
I am by no means a Hillary supporter, but I have to admit it would be a smart political move if the dems want a chance of holding the WH and she may have some coat tails.

I for one wish she had been the Dem candidate last time around instead of Mr. O. Don't like some of her liberal views, or some of the skid marks in her shorts along the way,,, But, but,, she would have been one hell of a lot better than O over the last 3 years. I'll bet she scares the crap out of him.

I would be extremely surprised if Hilary ran. After the last election process, she said she would not run again. But, I'll bet Bill would love it.
I really don't think Obama has a chance to win again. I think people are just too angry. Would the Democratic party insist he not run? Maybe. I don't think he really understands how angry people are.

The scenerio that seems to be playing out is all this money Obama wasted (over $2 billion and counting) on bankrupt companies that created a total of 3450 jobs (over $5 million a person) now the majority are gone anyway ... as this continues heats up, and it will, it be the last straw for Obama. Chicago politics has caught up with him.
Now there is a 4 start general that has come forward and said the obama administration tried to influence testimony he was going to give. This is making watergate look foolish.
I think if this blows up as it appears ... the crys will be for Hillary to run and she will.

I haven't heard this thing about the General. I'll have to look for it. You know, most General Republicans and a number of them have political aspirations. So I'll wait until I decide if it is credible or not.

I had an opportunity to meet and speak with Willy Shelton when I was at the Penatgon last November for my "protoge's" second star ceremony. Protoge is in quotes because the only thing I really had to do with his success is to give him reason to stay in the Air Force beyond one tour in Configuration Management at Gunter Pea Patch (now known as Maxwell AFB Gunter Annex).
I think what is getting lost in this thread is that it isn't a policy issue so much as it is a technical fact: Will the administration-favored system significantly degrade the GPS capabillity our military relies on so heavily? If he were to bow to administration pressure and testify that it didn't (something that is not true), then he would perjur(sp?) himself. He didn't impress me as someone willing to be influenced to do so.

Sounds very credible. The politicos want to play fast and loose with the truth. They forget that a lot of the military still believes in personal integrity and the truth.
