According to cBS it appears that the CDC is going to tell the vaccinated to mask up in certain circumstances.....once again demonstrating that they are incoherent, incompetent boobs.  They tell people to wear masks, which didn't work.  Then they tell people to get vaccinated so they don't need to wear masks.  Then they tell vaccinated people they have to wear masks once again.  This is going to result in mass disobedience, anger and frustration and will be highly detrimental to their stated desire to have people get vaccinated.  The messaging could hardly be worse......

One of my favorite lines which seems to apply here is that things are going to get a whole lot worse before they get really, really bad.  And all this as the Delta variant peters out in countries where it first appeared.  Saw an interesting chart of the CDC models for the Delta variant.  They are literally all over the place so for sure a few of them will be right and the rest magnificently wrong. They literally have no idea what is going to happen.  It would be like me predicting that over the next year the stock market was going to go up a lot, up a little, stay about the same, drop a little and drop a lot and then proceed to tell you how to invest given my prediction.  Or the poor baseball pitcher when the manager came to mound and told him not to throw anything the next batter can hit.  And then as he's walking back to the dugout, turn around and tell him, but don't walk him either.

Babylon Bee had a satire article called To Defeat Delta Variant, Experts Recommend Doing All the Things That Didn't Work the First Time.  That is literally how incoherent and destructive the morons at the CDC are since it stopped following the science and became overtly political.

yeah I saw some a pic of the models earlier today that showed somewhere between 10 and 10million cases.

It looked like a hurricane track spaghetti model for a hurricane that has yet to form in the year 2060 - literally could start anywhere and end anywhere.

For the week ending July 23, the 7-day moving average of new deaths was 223.  Each day 2,380 Americans die from cardiovascular disease — 405 per day due to strokes alone. More than 1,680 Americans die from cancer each day. 474 die from unintentional or accidental injuries. 332 die from Alzheimer's. 240 lives end due to complications from diabetes.  The Delta variant, which petered out quickly in Europe and India where it first emerged is certainly not any more deadly than the original virus and likely less deadly as usually happens with viruses.  If it behaves the same way in the U.S. the CDC will once again have been proven to be incompetent.

Some 80% to 85% of American adults are either immune to the virus or protected from serious symptoms: More than 64% have received at least one vaccine dose and, of those who haven’t, roughly half have natural immunity from prior infection.   And of course we know that children have a minute risk of serious complications or death from the virus......statsitically close to zero.  And if they are healthy it is likely literally zero. Only around 10% of Americans have had confirmed positive Covid tests, but four to six times as many have likely had the infection. A February study in Nature used antibody screenings in late summer 2020 to estimate there had been seven times as many actual cases as confirmed cases. 

Wake up people....you are being scammed by a bunch of fear mongering bureaucrats that want to stay in the limelight for a little longer and give the govt more power to control our lives.  Don't give into irrational fear.

Apparently the UK relaxed their restrictions in the midst of the Delta variant surge and here are the results.....of course completely the opposite of what the "experts" predicted would happen.  And India experienced their Delta variant surge earlier than the U.S. and its already declining.
