Subject:   Questions that Wallace won't ask

Would be great if Joe would answer a few questions, but I doubt that Wallace will ask them....

(1) Joe enabled son Hunter Biden to receive $130 million Federal TALF  bailout funds in 2009. Hunter quit his job his father got for him as a Washington lobbyist in 2008 and started Hedge Fund Rosemont Seneca LLC with Senator Kerry's stepson Chris Heinz.  They funneled the millions in Profits thru offshore tax haven account in the Cayman islands.  They avoided substantial U.S.taxes.

(2) Joe and Jill Biden were paid over $13 million in speaking fees in 2017 (reportedly equal amount in 2018 but not released) besides the question of who would pay Joe millions to tell you stories about Corn Pop and hairy legs, let's look at how he reported taxes.  Joe and Jill set up two Sub-S corporations to deposit their windfall, thus avoiding paying their fair share of over $500,000 in Social Security and Benefits taxes.

Question: who paid (bribe) Biden's tens of millions to speak. Who does Joe owe "favors" to when he is President.

(3) Hunter Biden and Joe Biden's Brothers have set up Hedge funds.  Hedge Funds take advantage of the Biggest tax loophole in the world , "Carried Interest" .  Hedge Funds take a portion of the fund gains in the fund as payment for management fee.  This is income but they say it is not and pay no income taxes.  They pay no taxes on this income until they withdraw it.  In the meantime they receive yearly compounded gains on the income without ever paying personal income taxes .

Two Questions: (a) Joe you state it's time for the wealthy to pay their fair share of taxes.  Will you repeal the Carried Interest tax law even though the Hedge funds and Wallstreet who have donated 100's millions to your campaign will be disappointed ?  (b) Hunter and Chris Heinz Rosemont Capital fund has made Ten's of $ Millions every year from dealings in Europe and China.  Do you now or have you ever owned shares in Rosemont Seneca LLC ?

(4) Joe proposes increased income taxes for those making over  $400,000.  Wallstreet (Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, etc, etc, etc). Put their payrolls in an in-house fund.  They pay managers $300,000 to $400,000 salary to pay their bills, they then get a year-end bonus of millions from the fund that is considered "Carried Interest".  Wallstreet loves Joe, they won't pay any taxes on their income disguised as Carried Interest.

JOE, are you going to repeal carried interest and uphold your promise to have the wealthy pay their fair share ?

(5) Joe also stated many corporations pay little and no U.S. taxes.  Joe said he will change that.   Companies like Amazon, Apple, Oil Companies, etc pay no U.S. taxes because the take advantage of "transfer pricing" and other loopholes to report no U.S. income . . .  ergo pay no income taxes.

Joe, you want corporations to pay more taxes. Pay their fair share .    Sounds great.   Joe, can you take the "lid" off your campaign , come out of your basement and please explain HOW ARE YOU GOING TO CLOSE THESE LOOPHOLES SO CORPORATIONS PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE ?

You will get more corporate taxes from U.S. small business that cant take advantage of these large loopholes.  You will destroy the small businesses in the U.S.  .   The engine for our economy.

Same 'ol , same 'ol.   Democrats promise more income taxes for wealthy and corporations but never deliver.  They do increase taxes on the working middle class.

Again, tax avoidance - legal but at times slimey

          tax evasion - illegal

I can't take credit for composing these facts and questions, but did find it informative reading.

You need to compare income tax filings and consultant fees paid by Trump to his employee family memebers.  Biden did not avoid scoial security payments.Yes, he did not pay Medical excess tax. The law needs to be changed. Trump only paid $750 in taxes...why not comment on that?

Happy to reply Fish.  If you read the NYT's carefully, as many more savvy tax wise than I have, it is clear that Trump did pay 2016 and 2017 taxes, 1million and 4.2million respectively.  The $750 was in excess to what he had pre-payed.  Won't find this info on yer MSDNC or CNN channels who rely on low information/low IQ voters to not really read beyond the headlines.

A bunch of nothing. Hilary isn't running.

The IC does not know the accuracy of this allegation

"alleged approval by Hillary Clinton”

Let's talk about Nixon and what he did. Trump and his campaign people and the Dems both play dirty politics. How about the nlies that were told about Kerry.

All he has to do is show his returns. The Times may well be looking at Corporate returns only and he also has personal returns for the income paid to him by the Corporation. All he has to do is what all other candidates do...show his retruns.

Why do you think he refuses to show them?

In 2016, the Bidens paid $87,000 in federal income taxes on income of $338,000. That year, Trump paid $750.

The following year, the Bidens paid $3.7 million in federal income taxes on earnings of just over $11 million. The same year, Trump paid $750.

You knock Biden on his S corp....he still paid $3.8 million in taxes while Trump paid $1,500. Trump needs to set the record straight, if he can.

"Federal income taxes paid in 2017 (jointly with spouse): Joe Biden - $3,742,974," the tweet says. "Kamala Harris - $516,469, Bernie Sanders - $343,882, Elizabeth Warren - $268,484, Donald Trump - $750."

They have not looked at any "returns".  Read the story closely, they report they have tax return "data".  Huge difference. Could be a spreadsheet or limited tax account summary.  They equate a business loss as business failure.  There are thousands of ways to deduct expenses as a business loss and still be cash strong.

Depreciation has multiple sets of rules.  If you read the Times, they assume only one, get the result they like and hammer Trump.  They have no idea what set of depreciation rules, such as, bonus depreciation, that Trump used, therefore their conclusions are suspect at best.

Having "debt forgiven", is not akin to not paying your bills, which Trump has been accused of.  Billionaires like Trump can default on loans and still be in good standing with their lenders because they understand the accounting that went into just a descriptive term that gets the low IQ voter's attention.

You still have not commented on the finding that Trump did pay 2016 and 2017 taxes the USTreasury in the amount of 5.2million.  Most of that was rolled forward.  The 750$ was EXTRA.  In 2005, Trump payed 36million in taxes and owed only 2.

There are so many tax professionals commenting on the lunacy of this article that it is laughable.  That there are those who are reading this as serious journalism is alarming.

BINGO!!  And isn't it just a bit coincidental that this journalistic "scoop" occurs a few days before the first debate.  Seriously, the NYT is a joke, and the entire profession needs a wakeup call.

What does Trump's instruction to the white sepremacist Proud Boys to ''stand back, stand by'' mean?  What does his refusal to without reservation disavow right wing hate groups mean?  What and where is Trumps long promised ''healthcare plan''?  Does Trump even understand why some of us are upset that a ''very rich business man'' who is a ''stable genius'' and the ''only person able to solve the nation's problems'' paid less income tax than the person that checks us out at Publix paid? Why does the US have 4% of the world's population have 20% of COVID cases and deaths? and most important, will Trump pledge live and out loud to all Americans and the world  to respect the outcome of the election?

awwww "shes not running", but Obama/Biden appears to have been briefed at the time that she as part of their administration was possibly behind the Russia Russia Russia horseschiff, and they did not care - in fact they decided to run with it and weaponise the DOJ/FBI/CIA/All 17 of the ICs  -  just like they did the IRS.

The fact that you can care less because " she is not running" - the point is that Biden is and apparently was probably briefed on the information, and was in on the scam(s).

The use of tax returns is incorrect. It is tax data that they have reviewed.

He rolled the payments forward and the $750 was the amount left as the total tax due for the year and not an additional payment. Why would he pay $750 additional if he was rolling 5 million forward? What am I missing?

The Math

Goofy, I explained this elsewhere.  Trump made estimated payments in both 2016 and 2017 in the total amount of $5.2M when he filed his extension in April.  Then when he submitted his tax returns in September he owed an additional $750, which means his accountants did a very good job estimating what his liability would be when he files his returns. I even provided my latest tax returns as a perfect example of this where I paid around $100K in estimated taxes and got a $14K refund (i.e., my total Federal tax liability was only $86K) when I submitted my actual return later that year.  According to the NYT way of lying I didn't pay any taxes.....which is not only blatantly false but supremely silly.

Journalists should be humiliated at not explaining this properly but their goal is to fool the economically illiterate TDS sufferers like you.  They are counting on you being too dumb to understand the truth and that not only would you blindly repeat the lie you would do so repeatedly despite having been corrected.  Try not to let your TDS overcome what little common sense you have.

MM. Where did you see the 5.2mil

I want to use it and verify where it is found.  Was it in the article?

Most of the time the rebuttal is hidden there

Archie,

Why should I care about any Chrissy Wallace ordered token statement to a "white supremacist organization",  who have not, to any degree I am aware of, been associated with 3 months of rioting, robbing, burning, murder,  assault of police officers, assault of children wearing MAGA attire, assault of Trump supporters, drinking from cups of outdoor dining restaurant patrons without invite,  intimidation of hard working business men and women, business destruction, rape, destruction of federal tax payer owned property, and general laziness  when you all don't find cause to call out your supremacist and radical organizations, BLM and Antifa.  Have Biden and Harris disavowed BLM and Antifa?  Hardly, both Biden campaign staffers and Harris supporters have donated to bail these criminals out of jail and allow them to perpetrate their crimes on other hard working "deplorables".  Didn't hear that last night did you?

Archie, I am no tax professional, but it does not take one to realize that those accustomed to wealth have the means necessary to accumulate tax credits LEGALLY, that significantly lessen their tax burden.   I don't have a problem because what they and I do for that tax credit costs  money that benefit others more than us.    For instance, the Old Post Office renovation project qualified Trump for a historic preservation tax credit.  Your normal Publix worker, god bless them, certainly does not have the means to qualify for some of these tax credits, if you don't like this fact, then cry uncle to your pal Biden, who sat on these loopholes for 47 years and did NOTHING to close them.  Why?  Because those benefiting from the credits would stop filling Biden's coffers.  Trump eliminated a loophole that actually hurts him.  Imagine that.    All of a sudden, it is now a crisis?  In your spare time, I suggest that you and Fish pour over some sophisticated accounting commentary and lay off the NYT.

Yes, your 4%/23% is true, but so is Italy's 1% and 14%.  Do you have an explanation for that?  The US was hardly unique.

The answer to your last question was answered by Trump in 2016.
