Can you believe it was a story on the national news?  I no longer trust Bob Woodward - apparently the book is loaded with uncredited sources comments.  It's just like he is out to sell books without regard to writing an honest book.  And how do I know it is not an honest book?  Because no one is bad all the time.  Yes, Trump is unconventional and his communiction sources stink, but no one is bad all the time.  When was the last time that anyone gave him credit for anything good.   As far as the MUeller investiation, how many other Presidents have had to deal with an investigation all of their days in office, with no specific ending and it appears has no parameters at all.

Everything you say maybe true...but Trump has no one to blame but himself. He lies and lies and lies. God forbid we have a real crisis while he is in office. By the way, have you read the book? Woodward has transcripts to back alot of it up. Trump is all about money...and has no concept of governing. You complain about the investigation...too bad Trump did not hire honest staff members.

Trump may have gone too far with his comments about Sessions and the 2 indictments of the first 2 congressmen to endorse him. A President doen't tell the AG who and when to indict. Stay tuned...

GF is right... bottom line Trump does have only himself to blame.

                          2/  a lot of people, not the least the vast majority of this forum, constantly give Trump ''credit''

                               for the MIRACULOUS things they perceive him to have done.

Well the denials are already starting.  Woodword claims he has tapes and his secretary transcribed them so who knows.  As for me, I will take a little chaos in the White House to get the results we are seeing.  I am quite sure Hillary would have run a tight ship and it would have been a disaster domestically and internationally.  That's because at the end of the day it's the policies of the President and the results that matter, not whether the WH runs like a well oiled machine.  And that is what makes the left so crazy.  Despite all the negative press, all the distractions from Mueller, et al. and the turnover in WH staff Trump keeps getting things done for the benefit of the American people.  Remember that in 2018 and 2020.

And unlike Goofy, I sleep much better at night knowing Trump is POTUS versus the vile, incompetent and corrupt Hillary Clinton.  I would much rather have him dealing with a crisis than her.

Some of those you mentioned actually started out okay - did you know that Hitler created and built the autobohn in Germany - he made many improvements to Germany, before he turned against the Jews.  I'm not saying that Hitler didn't do bad, horrible things, but he did some good as well.  Not saying that the good was not overshadowed by the bad either.  

The thing is that you are putting Trump in same group as some of the most notorius leaders the world has ever seen, and I don't think that is anywhere close to the truth.  He has not turned against the people of this country, or singled out a group for punishment.  Now before ou say "what about illegal immigrants" - that will not fly with me.  They are criminals having entered this country illegally.  He's trying to fix immigration for the good of this country.  

And what about Hillary's using her foundation to pay to play when she was SecState?  What about when she and Bill stole things from the WH on their departure?  It's not like she is a saint, and she's proved over and over again that she will lie to the American people with a straight face.  So I don't think she would have been any more reliable than Trump.

If Woodward has transcripts, why then o wise ones, does he not list the names of his sources?  From what I gather, most of his sources are anonymous, translated, establishment types that want to be on Woodwards and the deep states good side so that they can retain their jobs in the distant future.  If he has tapes, let us hear them.  Easy to say one has tapes and yet have no intention of verifying legitimate sources by releasing them.  Too many mice will scatter.

So today, someone claiming to the a senior member of the Administration (not named) wrote an OP ED piece for the NYT, stating that there are adults surrounding Trump  that keep him from his worst decisions and impulses.  Was this timed to coincide with Woodward's book; or did something major happen and caused this person to write it?  The speculation is that Mattis wrote it, but in my mind, it reads like someone younger wrote it.  So now there will be additional speculation who authored this piece.
