Well the 10% that Trump was going to put on items for Germany against their 25% - well looks like may be heading down to no tarriffs.  China already figuring out that the "trade war" is going to hurt them more then us.

Free trade - what a concept, vs well you stick it to us and we will bend over take it and apologize for not taking more.

Short term discomfort for long term goals.  

You really need to do more research then whatever channel/website you spend your time on.

The saying has nothing at all to do with race, unless you grow up privileged like Goofy. Here is what it really means:

The term “the pot calling the kettle black” is usually used in the sense of accusing someone of hypocrisy. The origins of the phrase date back to at least the 1600s, when several writers published books or plays which included wordplays on this theme. Despite suggestions that the phrase is racist or nonsensical, the meaning is actually quite obvious when one considers the conditions of a medieval kitchen.

So, if one cares to investigate, midieval kitchens were fired with wood or coal, both of which emit smoke that turns the cooking vessels black.  But I guess that doesn't fit GF's narrative so he/she ignores the obvious.

What is this word............"goping"? As you indicated earlier that you were on vacation and I echoed the same and am accompanied by my grandkids, a prompt response has not been my top priority. However, I must say that the delay certainly paid off. Phil provided a comeback that fully supports my view on what and when I discuss certain topics with my grandkids. I don't feel it is a grandparents place to provide advice that is the direct responsibility of their parents. But I will say that I trust my grandkids mothers and fathers to guide them and help them as they move toward adulthood.
