John Boehner called said Ted Cruz was the biggest SOB he ever worked with and likened Ted Cruz in Lucifer.
Did he to go far? And will it have any impact?

Boehner has no influence on anyone except establishment Republicans and those like you who had that opinion of Cruz prior to Boehner's bloviating about someone he doesn't even know. Boehner has high praise for Nancy Pelosi and you voted for Obama...twice. His and your opinion and judgement of Cruz is to be expected and most likely will not bring about a wringing of the hands of his supporters.

Boehner can say that now that the Establishment sees that he has no chance of being the nominee. But I think the likes of Boehner and Romney need to keep quiet. They are has beens.

He definitely went too far! I fully expect a "defamation of character" lawsuit against Boehner by Lucifer

I figure Boehner has no reason to lie at this point. I'm not sure he has much influence, but he probably wanted to say that for a long time. I don't know, I'm thinking Lucifer might file the suit - it's an insult to him not Cruz.

Nice to hear from you again AU67. You are someone I can always count on for a negative comment.
Yes, you are right - I have no love for Ted Cruz. But I'm not worrying to much about it at the moment, because it is clear to me that he will not win, no matter what. They'll march Paul Ryan out if there was even a glimmer of possibility that Ted would get the nomination.
Boehner is not the first Republican to dislike Cruz.

That is an interesting point -should fomer politicians or former candidates express a personal opinion about a current candidate.
I'm not sure either of the ones you mentioned have too much influence.

Not from you. I'm surprised you never confronted me in those HOBO meetings a few years ago when I was Secretary and you were on the board or were you an officer. I forget. You could have said negative things right to my face.

Doubt it. It's just when people can hide behind their alias, they will say things that they wouldn't have the guts to say to your face.

You know who I am. I know who you are. We have differing views on many subjects, politically and socially. We both read the forum. You post quite frequently. I post infrequently. Many of my replys are to your posts because of the very fact I do know you. If you would prefer I do not comment on your posts, I will graciously accede.
