The US Secret Service has stepped in and banned guns at the GOP convention citing a rarely needed policy of preventing political parties from committing suicide.

GOP stalwarts are reported to be suffering a severe emotional crisis caused by the need to express both gratitude and indignation in the same breath.

RNC said no guns.  The convention venue says no guns.  And now the secret service says no guns.  There are petitions all over the internet to allow the guns.  Hopefully, there won't be an assasscination of one of the candidates.  I can't imagine why anyone would think it would be a good idea to have a convention where every one is armed.

To Hound....AMEN!!  Especially when one prominent participant has raised the specter of "riots"!

To Copper....Not to worry, politicians have never had a problem talking out of boths sides of their mouths.  Today's GOP crowd have even raised it to an art-form!!
