We finally had the opportunity to try tonight. It was great. The service is wonderful. So friendly. They even came and sang to us.
It is not fancy, but the food was excellent, the margaritta was one of the best we have had. Chips are a bit weak, but that was the only weak spot. the salsa was excellent ... i like it a bit hotter and our server brought us 3 hot sauces we could add to the table salsa to make it as hot as we want. He also recommended an authentic mexican drink that was great.
It was so funny, with every bite he came by and was asking if everything was ok.
They were not busy, which is too bad, but they were doing a steady business. It is a 30 minute drive for us from the 63 side of the lake, but worth the drive. We hate Sinclairs, but went last night due to lack of options.
I hope they do great ... highly recommend La Posada for both the food and service. Worth a visit.

I hope they survive too but I have to admit they are on the pricey side for Dadeville. If anything that will do them in. Did you really pay $10 for a Marguerita?

yes ... actually two and then the special mecican drink was $12. But they were using Patron Silver Tequila ... if you don't want 100% Agave Tequila then the cost is less. But $10 for a 27 ounce Margarita is not bad. Their prices seemed very reasonable. Most items were $7-$10. We shared a bowl of their chicken soup to start and it was only $4.75 and it was huge. It could be a meal itself. I had the fish tacos and you get 3 tacos with more fish than i could eat for $9.95. My wife had a chicken buritto, that you could tell was made fresh and also very large and served with rice and beans for $8.95. Not sure how much cheaper they can get.

Agree. The prices are very fair for the quality of both service and food.

We try to go once a week, sometimes the service is over the top, but food is good and priced accordingly. Hope they can stay around longer than the other mex restaurant in Dadeville.

Agreed. For the quality and service it is well priced. We've all paid that and more at lake restaurants, and they could take pointers about service.

we went to the other place several times...it was dirty...not to mention the toddler b-bopping around from table to table with her mother/hostess following her was annoying! no soap in the mens room did it for us. they didn't have a good answer as to where their employees were washing their hands after using the bathroom.
and yes at the new place when they are slow...they are all over ya! they are very nice though!
