I didn't know that this think tank was located right here in Auburn!
Scroll down the page to "Media" and click on "Daily Article". It's a great audio on our economy.
You may have to register to hear the audio but they just want an email address. No strings.

Interesting audio. The speaker is right that the question of "how do we pay" should be, but isn't, asked of Obama and McCain. However, the speaker loses all credibility when he talks about Nixon beig a Republican president in the late 70's and early 80's and causing the double digits inflationof that time.. As one who lived through that, we know that it was Carter and his welfare mentality that drove us into that inflationary situation. If the speaker can be so wrong about something as clear as this, then how can we respect his judgement on the more complex economic issues that are beyond the average voter to undestand. Having said all that, thanks for pointing me to the site, it has a lot of interesting stuff. ...and let's hope that someone does grill the canditates on this issueof fiscal costs as well as immigration, the war, gay marriage, abortion, and the rest. no one seems to want to address these issues openly anymore.

You can rest assured that the main stream media will grill McCain on these matters. Oboma, not so much.
