You requested a simple yes or no vote. I know about baby Suri. I am also aware that Pakistan just gave a free pass to Osama bin Laden. You are obviously testing the political awareness of this forum. I have two words for you .......GO GIRL!

Overnight, of the 14 respondents (if Jim's Rats' behinny responose is a no), then 29% knows about this baby.

I was just wondering how much we read or hear about pop culture on/in the news.

Simply as that.

Thought I'd throw out something new. jaw

You mean Tom Cruise's little ba$tard girl..... heck I knew that. I thought you were talking about the association of alpaca breeders. The question is what is her last name.....??????

I knew wouldn't care, but I was more correct in that statement than I knew. I'm with Jim when it comes to wasting time on that kind of dribble.

I'm not reading any book about pop culture. Just like to ask different questions and discuss odd things sometimes.

But I am reading.....1776 by David McCullough. Very good.

I could recommend FREAKONOMICS....it's sorta like every day/odd economic statistics. very interesting.

This months book is A Thousand White Women.
I will check out Freakonomics.
Our book club has rules, the hardest to observe is the no gossip rule, Also we can challenge and question opinions but not criticize. It's a group you would probably enjoy.
