Boy I sure am glad I went with UWM. I have found that it helps to lessen the pain by picking against my favorite team. It sucks that Bama got knocked out early, but at least my bracket is still intact. Who do yall have picked to win it all?

I use that same strategy in picking football games. If Auburn has a tough match-up, I pick against Auburn. That way, I'll have something to be happy about regardless of the outcome - Auburn wins or I got the pick correct.
I don't keep track of basketball, so I don't have a bracket.

I am with you on this one camper, could not care less for the game. When players 7' 4" tall with arms 4' long put a ball in a hoop 10' off the floor, not much of a challange. Should put the hoop on the floor.

I too am not a big basketball fan at all. I think i would be just as quick to watch Lifetime as I would be to watch the NBA. There is just something about March Madness. . .i think it is the fact that so many little schools (see Wisconsin Milwaulkee) get a chance to pull of HUGE upsets. I like the energy much more than i care for the sport.

I look for USC to 3-pete. All seiousness aside, I am with you Siggy in that I watch no NBA and just a little college basketball until March Madness then, I can't tear myself away from the tube. Something about the College of Charlestons of the world playing the big boys that intrigues me. So much so that I'm heading to the lake today, by myself, to watch the festivities all weekend with a 3 hour break for A-day.

I'm thinking LSU folks are not liking UAB folks these days. On September 23, 2000, UAB beat LSU in football 13-10.

All Western division champs (Alabama and LSU) got bounced out the first round. Florida escaped Ohio, barely. Hope they, MSU, and Kentucky can last a few more games.
Remember several years ago seven SEC teams made the big dance. Five of the seven lost the first game and the five teams that beat them loss their next game.
Big, big SEC fan...but a roundball power house we ain't.
